#5Questions with Rachel McPhee-Benson
Rachel McPhee-Benson is an actress and theatre producer in New York City. She lives in Queens with her playwright husband Rob Benson. It's a marriage of love and passion. This dynamic duo recently teamed up for Rachel's one-woman, Off-Broadway hit "Deadshot Mary," about a pioneering police woman who captured picpockets and headlines in the 1930s.
The show, featured in the New York Times, will have an encore performance at the New York City Police Academy.
1: What is one thing you have to do today?
Drop off a dressmaker's dummy and props for a performance of my one woman show Dead Shot Mary that is happening at the NYPD Police Academy tomorrow as part of the Women Inspiring Women conference.
2: What is one thing you've been putting off?
Collating all of our expenses, W2s, and 1099s to scan and send to our accountant for taxes. Ugh.
3: What is one thing on your bucket list?
4: What is one thing you'd like to do again?
I'd love to go back to Paris. I was deathly ill when we vacationed there a few years ago, but it would be great to go back healthy!
5: What is one thing you regret?
I wish I would have studied something like graphic design or accounting/book keeping back in college- a skill that I could utilize for a survival job while I purse my acting career!
