WNBC-TV Trivia

I conceive, research, and write the Trivia segment that airs Saturday mornings on WNBC-TV.

Scripts are closely timed. Each question gets about 20 seconds, while there's only 12 seconds between the time the question appears and the answer is revealed.

Here is a screenshot of a trivia segment I wrote about Coney Island.

IT'S TRIVIA TIME!

TODAY’S TOPIC IS INSPIRED BY NATIONAL SUPERHERO DAY!

TODAY WE PAY HOMAGE TO SUPERHEROS, IN THE COMICS, AND IN OUR DAILY LIVES.

THERE ARE SUPERHEROS ALL AROUND US, INCLUDING POLICE AND FIREFIGHTERS, SANITATION WORKERS WHO CLEAN UP AFTER HUGE STORMS AND EVENTS, SCHOOL CROSSING GUARDS WHO KEEP CHILDREN SAFE, NURSES AND DOCTORS, AND THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVE IN WAR ZONES.

THEIR COURAGE AND BRAVERY ARE OFTEN WHAT INSPIRES THE HEROES AND STORIES WE SEE IN COMIC BOOKS AND MOVIES.
